Mick
“Nimble Rogue”
Lovingly coined the “Nimble Rogue,” Mick Holsbeke is an internationally renowned creator, producer, teaching artist, and clown with a ravenous appetite for the absurd and ridiculous. His unique perspective on clowning, exuberant physical acting, and circus expertise were developed at the prestigious École Nationale de Cirque de Montréal and, later, at the Hangar des Mines (with Michel Dallaire) in France.
As a Clown & Circus Artist, Mick performed with international companies such as the Cirque du Soleil, Teatro Zinzanni, The Seven Fingers, and Cirque Plume, bringing hilarity and comic innovation to hundreds of thousands of spectators around the world.
After close to two decades of performance on the global stage, Mick decided to redirect his energies into helping people access the joy of Clown play, and explore the deeper potential for integrating the core teachings of Clown into leadership development.
In 2024, Mick graduated from Seattle University with an MFA in Arts Leadership and launched The Clown Garage to empower individuals and teams to embrace creative play, improvisation, and vulnerability as sources of strength, leadership, and joy.
